Our journey begins from Johannesburg towards the Mpumalanga Province. We enter the unspoiled wilderness of Kruger Park at one of the Southern gates, from where our first exciting game drive begins. We spend the rest of the afternoon exploring Big Game Country before settling in at our southern campsite. (D) |

After enjoying coffee and rusks, we depart our camp at first light. Today we travel from our Southern Camp all the way up to the Central Kruger, giving us the opportunity to view the varied landscapes, ecosystems and abundant wildlife that the Kruger has to offer. The entire day is spent game viewing, bird watching and stopping off at the various waterholes en route. After a full day’s game viewing, we relax at our Northern camp enjoying a traditional braai (barbeque) around the log fire. (BLD) |

Up at daybreak, we venture out on our final game drive in the Kruger Park. We enjoy breakfast at one of the picnic sites before making our way out of the park, heading for a private game lodge. The rest of the afternoon is to be spent at leisure, enjoying the facilities that the lodge has to offer. After a relaxing afternoon, we board the open safari vehicles and head out on a late afternoon/evening game drive. Our game drive takes us deep into the African bush, where we enjoy sundowners and continue our adventure into the night. (BLD) |

The last few days have been spent trying to track down Big Game, including the Big Five. It is now time to pay attention to natures finer details as we head out on an early morning nature walk. Guided by our ranger, we learn about animal spoor, bird and tree identification as well as African bush lore. After breakfast we leave the tranquillity of the African Bushveld and make our way to the third largest canyon in the world, the Blyde River Canyon. We stop off at the picturesque Three Rondawels before continuing our journey to Johannesburg. (B) |
